TRAINING
Pre-season is over and the players have resumed training in anticipation of a tough season ahead. Manager Alan Kelly has been heartened by the growing numbers at these sessions and the attitude of the players.
He told the Maryhill website: “Its always tough getting back into the swing of things after a lengthy break but the players have come back and knuckled down straight away. Our preparations for the new campaign are going well.”
NEW KIT
Thanks to the generosity of both Insane Championship Wrestling and the Garage nightclub, we have brand new home and away kits to look forward to. They should be with us this week. The home kit will take the form of our traditional red and black hoops, with a sky blue away kit also on its way into the kit room.
NEW KIT MAN
That precious new kit will be the preserve of our new kit man, Tommy Lacy. Tommy has been a regular visitor to the Lochburn pavilion during the close season and has been busy sorting out the kit ahead of training.
ADIOS
Brian Ashe has left Maryhill after one season and has signed for his local team, Neilston Juniors. We wish Brian all the very best in the future and thank him for his efforts last season.
