Maryhill would like to announce additions to new manager Mark Young’s coaching team.

First up is a big welcome to Josh Sweeney who has been appointed as goalkeeping coach.

Josh played for Rangers academy then went on to play with St Mirren and Hamilton. He then went on to be a goalkeeping coach with Rangers coaching the youth pathway for the last 5 years.

When asked to come on board Josh said “ It was an opportunity I couldn’t knock back as I wanted to test myself in a competitive league and help drive the team to success. Looking forward to getting started and meeting the new GK Union 🙌”

Another coach excited to get started at Lochburn is Greg Rodgers who joins the club as a First Team Coach.

Greg started coaching with St Mirren and has been involved with Celtic, Rangers and Motherwell before accepting the opportunity to come to the club.

“I can’t wait to get going and I’ve known Mark for years through football so jumped at the chance to be involved as we both have similar thoughts and playing styles”
